Your StorMan database will be compatible with our other products (so you won't have to re-enter any data). Plus - when upgrading, you'll only need to pay the difference between the cost of the two packages!

Let's pretend 10% of your 500 customers are late payers... that's at least 50 phone calls to chase arrears! At an average of 1 minute effort per call, that's almost an hour you've wasted chasing arrears! And if you leave a message on the answering machine, will they even call you back - or will you just have to chase them again next week? Forget it, it's hopeless!

Thankfully, all is not lost. With StorMan's integrated SMS service, you can get a computer to do the annoying leg-work for you. Our integrated SMS service can easily be setup to send a text message to customer mobile phones when they become overdue - you can even personalise it with their name, balance owing, and so on. The same system can be used to send automated messages about upcoming specials on berths at your marina, or on an ad-hoc basis to text a customer at a time if you just want to send a quick message.

Like Credit Card Processing, an Advam Merchant Account is required - but the rest is already integrated into StorMan.

Because StorMan is designed using military-strength, multi-platform database software - we can happily say that it works on both a Windows PC and a Macintosh!

StorMan always keeps all customer data - forever. So really, customer archiving is always active and running within the program. Once a customer moves out, their details remain in the system automatically, and get set as "non-active"; yet you can always find them using various search tools.

The beauty of automatic archiving is that you can market to previous clients using many of our powerful mail-merge tools & marketing reports. Should an old customer move back in again, all of their contact details can be populated from previous data automatically. Furthermore, if they were a bad payer or dirty clients, you can also view this type of information if it was stored in the database previously.

Your staff might only work from 8am - 5pm, but so do most other people... so how does one go about accepting payments after hours? Easy... just setup StorPay - our secure website payments service. StorPay lets your customers pay their berthing bills online using their credit card. Payments are automatically reconciled into StorMan and are processed against the correct account, so no manual data-entry is required!

While StorPay is hosted on our secure payment-processing server, the payment pages look, feel & operate like the rest of your website - so customer's don't get confused or lost. All you need to do is provide us with a template for the web pages (so we can design StorPay to look like the rest of your site), and give your web developer a special link to our StorPay page for your facility.

In StorMan, it's the Billing Plan that defines how often a customer gets billed, whether they get a discount, whether the discount gets removed upon early termination of a longer billing plan (e.g.: a 12-month stay) and so on.

Our Billing Plans are very flexible - you can have as many as you like, they can do weekly & monthly rates, provide discounts based on a percentage or a fixed-rate, remove discounts if the customer breaks a contract, and automatically revert back to another plan at the end. Clever huh?

Why spend hours increasing rent prices based on occupancy levels when StorMan can do it for you? Using our Dynamic Rent Control function, you can automatically increase or decrease the rental price based on your occupancy levels. As levels are analysed daily, you can always be assured of accurate figures and thus, accurate adjustments.

Using our Rent Increase Wizard, you can also increase or decrease rent rates across the board based on a custom formula system... for example, apply the raise to all clients with 2 or more berths, that are not Government customers. Or apply the raise to add customers who have been with you for more than 3 months. Rent increases (or decreases) can be both fixed dollar values or percentages. Or both. When we release new versions of our software, your copy will be get automatically upgraded to the newest version when you next connect to the internet. This ensures that you always have access to the latest & greatest new features, bug fixes and so forth.

This option is only available to customers on a valid StorMan Support & Upgrades Plan. The automatic updates system can be deactivated if required.

All actions performed in StorMan - regardless of whether they're were performed by a human operator or the program, is logged in our detailed, searchable Event Log, which is perfect for site managers or owners who need to audit security, or perform deep database investigation if required.

Events are logged against the user that performed them, and as all users of the StorMan program can have their own individual login & password, it's easy for facility managers and owners to ensure staff are using the program correctly, and not under-selling berth space to your customers, or ripping off your business.

StorMan is built for busy facilities and multi-tasking has been integrated into all of our software. For example - if you're in the middle of a move-in & someone pops by to purchase some bait or ice, you can leave the move-in open where it is, sell the items & put it through the system, then come back to finish the move-in.

It's the same deal if someone calls to pay a bill while you're inputting a reservation. We know for a fact that at least one of our major competing software programs can't do that! Multi-tasking in StorMan allows you to have up to 9 things running (open) at once.

Not only does StorMan record customer actions (gate open / close) on the main Dashboard (if we support your gate system) - we also individually itemise a customer's own gate transactions on their agreement.

This allows site operators to view any gate actions on a per-customer basis, which is great for security auditing & logging. This history is then retained against that customer's agreement forever.

StorMan features an automated idle timeout system which will log-out the current StorMan user if / when the machine has not been used for a predetermined amount of time. This is handy, should a member of staff member be called out into the facility to assist a customer, or show a new / potential customer around the facility. The idle timeout can be adjusted to suit the needs of the facility.

StorMan's integrated photo module allows you to store images of your clients, their berths or boat, and scans of their license details. Should a customer's 'late-cycle' come to an end and their goods go for auction, photos of the unit and its contents can also be stored in the StorMan database forever, for archival purposes.

The built-in compression system allows you to set the quality of photos on a system-wide level - ensuring your database doesn't get too inflated with large photos.

Rather than have to manually copy & paste customer email addresses & then manually attach the correct invoice, StorMan includes a built-in email client. The client has been designed to automatically attach any email invoices, insert customer names & balance-owing details, and then send them to the relevant customers when due to do so.

The StorMan email system can also be setup to receive email if required. Alternatively, you can continue to use your existing email program and just use StorMan to send it's own email - such as reminder letters, invoices and so forth. The choice is yours!

StorMan includes the tools to create your own graphs and charts using your own data. Create pie graphs of customer postcodes to see which is more popular, bar charts of move-ins per month on a daily basis... the possibilities are almost endless!

When you enter Sales Enquiries into StorMan, the program can be setup to automatically remind you to follow-up these enquiries the following day. This means your staff have no excuse to give your potential customers a call and see if they want to do business.

Should you not with to use StorMan's default invoice header & footer, the design & look of these elements on your invoices can be customised - allowing you to build your own look & feel to match your existing marketing theme.

StorMan's internal design & marketing unit (StorMan Business Services) can also assist in building an invoice design to suit your individual needs.

StorMan's central Dashboard (see the next feature, below) includes a Calendar that automatically updates to show any scheduled move-ins / move-outs for the day, along with any other custom notes that staff members may choose to input.

If you use StorMan's built-in Inventory Management, the Calendar notes can also be set to warn you when an item in your stock inventory falls below a predetermined quantity - for example, "less than 10 rolls of packing tape". In the near future, the Calendar system will feature time-based reminders as well.

StorMan includes a facility mapping tool. Simply draw your map in the setup stages, mark out the office, fire extinguishers and garden areas, and your facility map is now ready to use. The map is also live, which means berths change colour depending on their status (vacant, reserved, occupied, to be cleaned, etc).

As the map is directly linked to the StorMan customer database, berths can be clicked for viewing (in order and see data for the customer currently occupying that berth), new move-ins can be performed, and so on... all directly from the map.

Insomniac make a range of marina kiosks to automate customer move-ins, reservations and bill-paying exercises. The great news is that StorMan is compatible with the Insomniac range of kiosks - meaning you can run un-staffed satellite sites from larger locations at low outlay. By default, StorMan comes with quite a few reports built-in (41 for Pro / MultiUser / MultiSite and 46 for MultiView) - but we also have a Custom Report Builder should you wish to create your own.

Reports can also be saved and exported, so you can use them at other facilities within your group and run them on another site's data for comparison. Almost any database field can be reported on - giving you plenty of flexibility to create all kinds of reports!

By providing a direct export into a number of popular accounting packages (such as QuickBooks, MYOB & Microsoft's Great Plains), double data-entry is a thing of the past. Simply setup your GL codes in StorMan, and sales totals are correctly transposed to accounting programs for reconciliation and advanced reporting.

Only the indicated products (Pro, MultiUser & MultiView) will work in a MultiView environment.

Our top-of-the-line MultiView product synchronises data between your sites and head office in real time - meaning both ends of the chain have the most up-to-date information at all times. Should the internet go down, both ends can continue to use the program as normal; any syncronisation data will simply queue and wait for the internet to become active again.

By using a replication system that works both ways, larger companies may wish to employ a centralised call centre to take reservations and enquiries - call centre staff can even take payments for any facility, thanks to the MultiView replication & syncronisation product. Other features include the ability to take payments for other facilities within the group, check berth availability at other facilities, run consolidated reports, and operate satellite sites... just to name a few!

StorMan also provides a hosted version of the MultiView solution, which may be more cost effective for companies who do not which to purchase their own high-end server equipment. The hosted solution allows companies to 'rent' a MultiView environment from us.
